Be There For others!!!!!!!!!

Easter is just celebrated and today we are celebrating the feast of the Divine Mercy and the message we have is to be there for each other. Jesus after rising from the death, he shows up to his apostles and disciples at various moments of their lives. He promises His help, support and divine presences, He instills confidence and increases their faith. A feeling some one out there is thinking of us and giving us the assurance of their presence is great and spirit lifting feeling. During the forty days of fasting, penance and prayer we have promised the Lord to do some good for others. Now it is time to fulfil the promise and look after the needy brothers and sisters in this pandemic.

Let us not put our guards down when people are suffering and wanting our support, help, presence and even financial support but, let us be up in arms to do our little of bit service to humanity. During the Lenten season has taught us to spend time for reflection, action, service to others so we can be associated with the charitable initiatives of the Church and parish to meet the needs of humanity.

The liturgical traditions of the Church during this Lenten and Easter season were not followed and celebrated in full swing due to covid, that does not mean we have to overlook or stop practicing or reading about it.  They are the rich traditions and treasure of the Church and are part of the Redemption and salvation that Jesus brought to us through His sacrificial death. Let us now explain to children the importance of all the liturgical traditions lest they forget its significance and role and influence they have over our spiritual life.

Today some of our friends and family members are affected by the virus as well as by economic crisis the result of Covid, they need our a little help. We don't want them to go through hard times and moments all alone....let us be there for them......all of us have received gifts from the Lord, let us go out to share with those needy ones. The help can be given in different forms and ways like visiting, donating for good cause, taking care of the elderly and children if their members are affected by covid and are quarantined. Let us make it simple to share our gifts and riches through a loving dialogue, a pat on the back, emotional support to these who are going through a tough time.

Let us show God's Love....let us make it concrete in words, deeds and actions.....let us bring and take the Love of God to those who need it at this moment....through powerful and loving actions....God is inviting you to serve people through the sharing of God's love which we have experienced in our life....what we share and give to others it is going to be rewarding ....God will reward....the universe will reward us....so share the blessings.....
