Ordination to the Diaconate!!!!!

The Capuchins have been in Poona since 7 years in the Campus of De Nobily run by the Jesuits. We have built our formation House on the land which has been purchased from them. Our brothers live in our own friary and attend the classes in the Papal Seminary where there are over 200 seminarians from various dioceses and religious congregation. This has been a blessing for our brothers as they are exposed to different cultures of the seminarians who come from all over India.....the mixing with the other religious congregation and knowing their spirituality and charism has led our brothers to appreciate their own Capuchin spirituality and charism.

 From our formation house called "La Verna" already three batches have been ordained....this year we had 5 ordinations to the priesthood.....next year two ordination...these two brothers were ordained as deacons on Sunday....

 There were 20 candidates from various dioceses and congregations who were ordained by the Bishop of Poona Thomas Dabre....

 It was well attended by the friends and religious.....it was well organised too....
