Six of our Second Year Theologian Friars were instituted into the Ministries of Reader and Acolyte. The fraternity had prepared the Liturgy very well. The Provincial delegated me to preside over the Eucharist and institute these brothers in the Ministries.
Yesterday morning I prepared the brothers with a talk on the vocation and the Crisis that many face due to lack of spiritual life and Faith.....
The reasons and causes to leave and abandon the religious life.....the lack of communion and fraternal life....
Slowly giving up life of Prayer and not giving importance to the Gospel way of life....
Getting carried away in secularism and materialism....the means of social communication given a top priority...
Individualism leading young religious to avoid the others....I am sufficient attitude...
The lack of faith in the celebration of the sacraments....
Word of God given secondary place in life....thus leading to disjointedness and disconnection...
Invited the brothers to seriously prepare to serve the Lord and proclaim His word
To participate in the personal mission of the Lord.....
Lord sending us out to preach the good news.....
Be the Face of Jesus to the hungry world....waiting to see the Lord Jesus in us....
The Gospel is not a philosophy or Ideology....Word of God is life giving source...tap it well, understand and meditate....live it before speaking...
Word spoken without practice has no meaning....
