Growing up as a Catholic Child in a small hamlet called “Fernand Alli”, the name of my village where I was born and grew up had wonderful and exciting experiences which led me to choose for religious capuchin life. As a small boy, I noticed that some of the young boys had tremendous influence and impact on their lives from the situation and environment they came from. I have seen that the boys who came from families where there was brewing up of local liquor would end up drinking liquor by the age of 17. This always haunted and disturbed me for a number of years. I also noticed that their talk, thinking, and behavior as totally different from the rest of us. While being together either for playing or grazing buffaloes and cows, in our conversation their ideas were always negative. They would try to impose them on us but most of us who had good families though poor never succumbed to their evil and non-creative and productive ideas. There are people in whose company who are able to have wonderful and inspiring moments. They inspire us so much that there are “wow’ moments that give birth to an idea or thought which has been in lingering for a long time in our mind. Let us seek out these people and places who make a difference in our lives.
I have experienced in the presence of my friends who are educated and highly placed in the society that when they share some experiences, they inspired new ideas and thoughts in me. I have been blessed and enhanced by their highly Intellectual approach with humility to some of the important issues of human beings and our world politics. I believe that intellectual and spiritual development can take place in us when we are in a company of positive people who are Sharper and have expertise on the subject. While listening to them the ocean of Ideas and good thoughts just pop up in your minds, they become like a light that shines and illumines. I have experienced their Levels and space of creativity in them is much higher which influences the listener or even a student under them to be creative with new ideas. They use all kinds of experiences in order to drive home a solid and authentic and genuine message to the people around, they just create a positive environment.
I had some good teachers in the school and college and even in the formation houses who were Innovative in their teaching and explanation which would inspire us to learn and search more on the topic. It was because they would teach us with passion and their whole person into the subject which made us realize that there was something that can bring transformation and new ideas. So we were inspired by their teaching and company which allowed us to dream and build castles on earth and inspired ideas that have bettered our lives where we are now. I have learned one important thing which I will never forget that is When everyone shares their stories of success and failures it creates a new environment that leads to new patterns of thoughts and ideas which in turn allows us to build up good human relationships…Share your stories with someone…important ideas which are there in our minds but lingering on…..share in the group who are interested….Great ideas and thoughts do happen and are born…but need an environment where these ideas and thoughts can be born…Connect yourself with others
