“Hang in there and lift up yourself to higher goals”!!!!!!!!!!!

The students in schools, colleges, and universities easily give up when they are not able to understand a subject which they label it as difficult. Some even discontinue attending classes or give up studying because they find it extremely difficult. Some undergo tremendous stress and even insults because they are able to perform well. In the school, the teachers and classmates, at home parents, and siblings always either taunt or compare them with the others. This constant nagging everywhere sometimes leads these students to the extreme of ending their lives by suicide. We know, hear, read, and watch on television sets. Why do they give up? Are they not able to face difficult situations and challenges? Is no supporting environment? Are they expected to perform much higher or better than the capacities and intelligence that they possess? This can happen in any human field like family, marriage, friendship, organization, and company where you work. But we see a good number of people just throw up their hands and give up the battle. Can a soldier run away from the battlefield? He will be called as betrayer or coward. Let us not run from any kind of situation but face them with faith, trust, confidence, and boldness.

We sometimes misread the challenges and difficult situations in life, we got to believe and accept that these are there to sharpen and exalt us to higher goals, to show us that we can achieve anything under the sun if we accept the battle and stay on there without fear. These challenges might ask of us some strange things and most of the time hard work and belief in oneself and in the surroundings. It may even bring about untold pains and sufferings but the end result will be sweeter than honey. Sometimes people who guide us have a lot to say or instruct us, sometimes they don’t have to say much but we must understand their intentions and not misread them. The challenges are always powerful and I have experienced its power in my life. They drive us mad to achieve the goal if we accept and internalize them. They have positive signs and messages if we keep the eyes of our minds wide open. The challenges will lift up our spirit and confidence. We don’t have to be crushed under challenging situations but acceptance of them could become a ground for success. When we lift up our human spirit and confidence there will always be a new sun shining, a new life propping up and a new horizon opening up.

We have to complete the tasks at hand and achieve goals to enhance our lives and those of others who depend on us. Completing and accomplishing make us feel real human and a person called to soar higher and higher. Don’t harp on our inabilities but concentrate on the gifts that we possess in a big way. Don’t leave anything unfinished and incomplete in life’s most painful and suffering moments, like a difficult person, marriage, boss, superior but stand there as someone determined to cross the seven seas and achieve the goal. When you have the rich experience of not having to give up but overcome the hurdles and difficulties, now go out and address to others considering to give up. Guide and help them with questions like “do you really want to give up, quit”?....show them how to develop a character and attitude of “Hanging in there and lifting up oneself to higher goals”
