9 Days of Novena in Honor of St. Anthony of Padova

I am back from the hospital after my surgery which i thought was simple one but at the end it out to be a bigger and longer one. everything went on well with the blessings, presence and grace of God, Padre Pio and the prayers of so many faithful who stormed heavens for me. I thanks all my friends while i was in the hospital took care of me either by spending the day or night in hospital. It was amazing to see to the love and care and concern of many lovely people. God is great and He is very much alive and present amidst us. so many messages and phone calls made my stay in a strange land more enjoyable and lovely. I now back to our parish at RAK since last two days and recovering has speeded up.....
The devotees from the neighbouring parishes began to flock since morning to pray to St. Anthony whose nine days novenas and reflection began yesterday. The parish priest hoisted the traditional Antoninan flag with presence of the faithful in our beautiful and spacious compound.

St. Anthony’s prayers were helpful in finding not only a lost item but to find the novice’s lost faith too. In years, this story has been changed and altered, but the core seems to be true and has stayed the same. Anthony’s psalter is now held in the Franciscan Friary in Bologna, Italy. Shortly after St. Anthony’s death, people began praying to him to find their lost articles. You can do it to, by using the Saint Anthony's rosary. Shop it now.Anthony, glorious servant of God, famous for your merits and powerful miracles, help us to find what was lost. Give us your help in times of temptation and enlighten our minds in searching the will of God. Help us to find again the life of grace, which our sin destroyed, and lead us to the possession of the glory promised us by the Savior. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. O God, may the votive commemoration of blessed Anthony, your confessor, be a source of joy to your Church, that she may always be fortified with spiritual assistance, and deserve to enjoy eternal rewards. Through Christ our Lord.
