Give and you will receive.....what you give to the Universe, the Universe gives it back in manifold...Gospels speak of giving to others what you have received in manifold ways from the GIVER....giving to others what we have, possess...what we are ....giving not only financial support but giving everything that we can give....today's world is in need of receiving what we have been blessed with by the Lord....
In one corner of the world there is a need of dialogue and sitting across the table to stop the war ...which is lurking....waiting to destroy the beautiful world....need of creating peace and talking peace by those who are blessed with this Peace by the Lord.....in giving it we will receive it for the entire world....
In another corner of the world people are dying of hunger and thirst and there is a need of giving them basic things of life....but the political situation is so bad that they have no option but to flee to safer places where they can receive a morsel....feel accepted as human beings.....but instead of giving them we are closing our doors, our boundaries....denying them dignity.....the need of supporting nations who are in financial difficulties to settle their problems and provide their people so that they don't flee from countries....some of these refugees live in horrible situation....away from loved ones...not secure what is awaited for them.....
The Rich and developed countries can come together to can give to the poor nations as they have always done....we don't have to make them to run away from their homes but we can help to settle down and live in dignity with the financial support monitored by the World Organizations...
Everything we can give, but we need to give without any string attached....give till it hurts...till it makes you to realize that what you gave away was not yours, it was someone else who gave,,,that you were not the owner but only a caretaker....when right time comes then you give away with smile and heart open towards the other...
My personal experience as Capuchin priest.....I am not able to give in a big way but what I have given in these 27 years as a priest I have received in a very big way....I just wonder if I had to really give everything that I possess...my talents, gifts, time, expertise, knowledge and wisdom ...I would have been a happier person to see the world a better place....
