Jesus Prays: "I pray for them"

Praying for His Apostles, Jesus makes the priestly prayer to the Father. Even today He continues to pray for all of us as the High Priest seating at the right hand of the Father. We have a Lord who CARES for us hence PRAYS for us. He faithfully continues to "pray for us" let us also be faithful to "pray to Him".

 ★ "They are yours"
Knowing that His final hour had come closer. Jesus consecrates His Apostles to His Father, who are to continue His Mission. By our Baptism, Religious Profession and Priestly Ordination "ALL OF US" are "Consecrated to God." Its not enough to BE Consecrated, its important to LIVE the consecration.

Jesus' prayer of Consecration, reminds us the fact that Prayer not only EFFECTS Consecration but SUSTAINS Consecration. Therefore PRAYER is most fundamental to live our consecration.

Let us remember, every consecration is TO God, BY God and FOR God. Consecration is not a TITLE given or a PRIVILEGE taken but a LIFE proven in HOLINESS by being Truly HUMAN and Truly CHRISTIAN. (Be it as Married, Clergy, or Religious).
