Lent:God's mercy knows no limits

God the Father never tires of showing his steadfast love and mercy to those who seek him. Scripture tells us that his mercies never cease. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" (The Lamentations of Jeremiah 3:22-23). What can hold us back from receiving God's mercy and pardon? Anger, resentment, an unwillingness to forgive or to ask for pardon can hold us back from the healing power and merciful love that has power to wash away guilt and condemnation, fear and anger, pride and resentment. The Lord Jesus offers us freedom to walk in his way of love and forgiveness, mercy and goodness.
Lenten season our Catholics in Maharashtra begin their way of the cross....by visiting churches in the various dioceses....it is good to see that many spontaneously join this devotion to show their love and faith in Jesus who died for our sins....many of them undertake fast and penance and also spend a day in some home for the aged, sick or orphanages....it is a tradition that began some years ago and now it is is part of the Lenten season....some parishioners from Vasai came to our Theologate here in Pune...we celebrated Eucharist for them....prayed with them...
Time never waits for anyone and winds never require direction...it only depends on us how we use time and turn winds in our favour.......
Life will be happier and stressless if we remember one thought, we can't have all that we desire but time will give us all that we deserve...
Life laughs at you when you are unhappy, Life smiles at you when you are happy, But life salutes you when you make others happy....

This is great fact: strength is life, weakness is death...strength is felicity, life is eternal, immortal, weakness is constant strain and misery: weakness is death...

If you don't go after what you want you"ll never have it.  If you don't ask the answer is always no.  If you don't step forward, you are always in the same place.
