Everyday Bring the Gifts to the Lord of Life!!!!!

Today as we celebrate feast of d Epiphany, Today’s Gospel presents before us three types of groups
1) The destructive group:  King Herod: he wants to destroy the source of very life. He is scared of the Life-giver. He does not offer his life to the Savior neither he wants to recognize Him. Herod prefers to live in darkness and keep his gifts to be buried along with him in his grave.

 2) The group dat ignored Christ: scribes,  Pharisees, and Jewish priests: Ignoring someone who is greater and mightier than me is very normal and human. But to ignore the Life-giver is something that arises from non-communion with the Lord. Ignoring to offer the gifts and talents that he has bestowed us with. What a shame that human being ignore themselves to be offered to the Redeemer. We ignore Him when we ignore someone to help, someone to love, someone with whom we can share.
 3) The group sat adored Jesus & offered Him gifts: Here are the real human being who hear and set out to search and they find. In the first place they offer their life, they risk everything in order to find the Lord. They give all that they have, their time, talents, love to seek the Life-giver. The shepherds & the Magi come to meet Jesus because they heard that the life, love, and peace giver has come to enlighten lives so they decide to offer their lives.

Now we have to choose to belong to one of these groups. We have so much to offer and give to the Lord. Let us not be like the first two groups.
Let's try to belong to the third group: group of adoration by actively worshiping Jesus at Mass with the  gold of our love, d myrrh of our humility & d frankincense of our adoration; let's give a new direction to our lives. Just as d Magi chose another route to return to their homes, let us choose a better way of life, abstaining from proud, unjust & impure thoughts, evil habits & selfish behavior; let's become a stars leading others to Jesus, as d star led d Magi to Jesus.

Let us remove d darkness of d evil around us by radiating Jesus’ love through selfless service, unconditional forgiveness & compassionate care. Like d Magi, let's offer Jesus as a Gift of our life by offering it on d altar during d Holy Mass.
