Our world is more and more multi-ethnic and multi-cultural. As a matter of urgency we need to learn our place in this new reality. it is our mission to make space for the kind of listening and dialogue that enable faith and reason to encounter one another; between believers and unbelievers, between the different Christian confessions and different religions. This calls for openness and flexibility, avoiding fundamentalism and any attitudes that prevent us from experiencing the fragment of truth present in the love that resides in others.
The religious life, like every Christian calling, is born of listening to the Word. evangelical radicalism consists in making the Gospel one’s own form of life. Only love, beauty and goodness can explain the mystery of our vocation. As followers of Christ, poor, obedient and chaste, we embark on a journey that moulds the core areas of our life, in which our identity and belonging are expressed.
