A small chapel....here the community celebrates Liturgy....some of the patients are catholics who attend the mass.....for the rest the friars conduct inter-religious prayer services....it is a wonderful human service....the friars touch the lives of these men who come with hope of becoming sober and sane....and 90% of them do become alright....they go back with new life to be with their families....it is not a easy job...the friars have to be on their toes.....some of them fall suddenly sick, some of the cry or feel lonely, many of them have emotional problems.....the friars along with some volunteers handle well...
Asha Kiran was founded 15 years ago with the intention of providing support to the alcoholics....Br. Charles with his knowledge of the medication for the patients he started with small number. Today the centre received 50 to 60 patients a month. There are men from good families who have been addicted to drinking, they have lost families, properties and even respect. Some of them come from very poor families and due to their addiction the families are broken or even abandoned by the relations.

This morning i met the patients.....they were happy to listen to me....i interacted freely with them....
Most of the patients are young men....pray for them....they need a lot prayers....God is working miracles in their lives....
