Assumption church Pilplera run by the capuchins. It is one
Km away from the friary and the friars render service every day to the people.
It was established as a parish in 1931 and handed over to the capuchins in
1976.
Krist Raja Hindi Medium school...started in 1978-79...it was girls school for the neighboring muslim population.....today after 30 years it is still unaided school....but co-ed....there 1200 children...fully run by the friars with the little money that they collect from the children and rest is paid by the province....the teachers are all paid good salaries....but the people are very happy about the standard of the school....there are many english medium schools around but the people prefer our school...
The children are well taken care of.....a lot of activities....it can compete with any other schools including English medium...it is bi-lingual school....children understand and speak english too....

The fraternity has 6 friars....they are all teaching the minor seminary....there are 12 seminarians....
senior friars who have worked in the province for number of years....great missionaries....
The fraternity and the seminarians....good singers and very active....Let us pray that all of them survive to be good capuchins...
