Arrival in Kochin and Inauguration of the training session for CCMSI treasures

Guwahati to Kochin by flight took us almost 7 hours with two stopovers. It was long and tiring. It was tedious, as we had been travelling these days in North East. We reached Kochin at 10.30pm and from the airport to Kottayam friary took us two hours to reach. We reached at 1.30am early morning. We just hit the bed and off to sleep.
This morning we began with breakfast where not all the participants were present. Many friars arrived late night to the curia so all were sleeping long.
Brothers Alejandro, Chinnu, A.J. Mathew and me met together to plan out the days’ program.
We began the training session with prayer and singing a hymn to the Holy Spirit. The CCMSI president then welcomed all the participants including Hugo, Alejandro, James and Paul..
Br. Michael delivered a keynote address wherein he requested the friars to use money responsibility. He mentioned about the economic crisis and the economic solidarity suffering due to this problems. The role and responsibility of the treasurers is guarding and responsibly handling the money.
Br. Alejandro then explained the scope and motive of the training session. He said we have become to know the brothers and not to tell you what to do and how to do. He said that we can work together to have a solid fraternal economy.
Br. Mathew then explained the timetable and other programs. The assembly accepted and approved the program.
