This morning during the Prayer Br. Hugo, Hebdo prayed for the intention of General Minister and Willi who are celebrating feast day and Birthday tomorrow respectively. Immediately the others whispered saying that they celebrate tomorrow and not today. I thought for a while and said to myself why not write a blog one day before so that the friars would start praying for him. The celebration is tomorrow and we have an eucharistic celebration followed by Lunch. We have invited some important guests for the celebration........
The General Minister is animating the Order for last 9 years. He was re-elected in 2012 General Chapter with a thumping majority like the first time when he received highest number of votes. He was already popular before the chapter of 2006 and being spoken as the General Minister.
The General Minister is popular figure in the Order and among the other religious too. He is very active in the association of the Major superiors here in Rome. He is a good theologian as well as good preacher.
Br. Willi who celebrates his birthday tomorrow is in Curia for last 7 years and a well accepted and loved by all
He has maintained a good relationship with the Capuchin Bishops....
The Swiss Guards salute the Bishops including Mauro....they are from his country and they know him too....
