Second Week of the Council Meeting

The weekend does a lot of good when during the week you have a lot to do. Last week we had sufficient and intense work which necessitated a good rest. We did have that wonderful rest but the attack on France disturbed all of us. Whole Europe gathered to express their support and extend their help to France to combat terrorism. All over the world the terrorists are doing a lot of harm all over the world especially in Africa. The world leaders need to come together to address this problem. We have to forget our belonging to a religion but just remember that we are all children of the same God in whom we believe and pray to. The world has to join hands agains the terrorists who don't have any religion. If they believe in God then they would do harm to His beautiful creation that Human being is. We all prayed for France and all those who lost their lives. We need to continue our incessant prayers for people of Nigeria who are suffering at the hands of terrorists.
We, this morning did not have meeting as we needed more time to read and prepare for the meeting. We spent time for reading the matter on the agenda.
This afternoon we began the meeting with some canonical and constitutional cases. We also had mid-term reports, reports of canonical and pastoral visitation. We also looked into some of the international fraternal collaboration.

We also had invited Br. Cyprian Vacaru, Guardian of the friary of Consolation, Rome and Br. Leonard Gonsalez, delegate for the Clarists. We listened to their experience in their respective field and work of animation.
