Br. Jean Bertin conducts visitation Republic of Central Africa

From 9-30th December 2014 Br. Jean conducted a visitation of Central Africa which has witnessed a civil war. The friars were attacked and had to run to the forest. In spite of sufferings and difficulties the friars have continued their missionary work. It is really a Capuchin spirit. They have gone through a tough time but the Lord has been walking with them. Many would not know what they have experienced and witnessed during the war. Br. Jean through power point presented the situation of the country and how the friars are now working with more enthusiasm and vigor. We need to pray for our friars that the Lord protects them every day.
A long line of vehicles accompanied by the army.....Jean said that the line would be around three kilometers.....
The brave friars who are facing everyday with real Capuchin Franciscan courage......God bless you dear brothers....we are with you in spirit and prayer.....God loves you and we too love and appreciate your courage....
This is a class room where the children all sit together.....Catholics and Muslims....innocent ones don't even know to what religion they belong.....let us pray that they grow to live in peace....

The Novices, future Capuchins...laying solid foundation.....
The destruction of houses, schools and other buildings during the war......
Sisters training the children.....forming them in faith.....May God bless you sisters .....
The refugee camps.....Jean said that there were many people who took refuge....the friars worked with them.....
