From Eternal City - Rome to Garden City-Bangalore INDIA

Yesterday morning i left for Rome airport accompanied By Br. Akililu. I was on time for the check in and the staff at the counter were very nice to me. I requested them to put my luggage on priority basis which they did. I requested an aisle sit with leg room and space which they whole heartedly did it for me. I made a fraternal request for the upgrade and they said sorry...The flight wasn't full. Anyways i got sit where no one else was sitting so i could sleep comfortably. Arrived in Dubai on time but the flight to Mumbai was packed with children and parents....a lot of babies crying....i felt for a moment that Christmas celebration is on in the flight......The flight was good to Mumbai and then from there to Bangalore....Tired but not retired....i heard some people speaking about their flight from the USA to India in total would be about 19 hours.....wow.....Bangalore city of garden, clean and beautiful....i hired a taxi and reached FISI around 12noon. I was warmly welcomed in a rather cool weather.....Jaime and Charlie were extremely happy to see me.....
At 3pm i began my talk for the participants who were about 12 of them. A poor response from the Conference.....It would be taken up for our next conference meeting....it was good to speak to these formators who are young and would like to give their best.....
Sisters singing a welcome song.....really good and warm welcome from holy sisters...
 all the sisters in attention.....
Friars listening and asking clarifications from me....on the topic of Capuchin Franciscan charism

We break for tea and some snacks...

They are singing a farewell song to the participants.....all in angelic voices....

Denis Veigas, the director of FISI thanking the participants and organizers....
Paul alvares wishing all good bye as he had to catch an early bus to Goa

Br. V.J. Menezes, one of the veterans of FISI....still all hang on his lips....he is a good speaker and preacher.....

Distribution of certificates for the Participants...well done brothers.....

John Fernandes comes in style to receive the certificate....

Most of the participants are young friars.....
