Inauguration and Blessing of a Social Centre in Bawal, HR

The Custody is really serious about its mission and apostolate. They have purchased a piece of land some years before but it was under litigation....the villagers and neighbors did not allow them to build anything due to fear of conversion....finally the brothers won over the confidence of the people through local leaders....this social centre call NAVJYOTI mean new light is really going to bring new life to the girls and boys of the poor families....people are all farmers and they depend on good rains...

 Brothers Prasad and friars....happy that they do have a centre....

 Local political leader who is a member of the state legislative assembly...promised his help and support....he is a doctor by profession and well acquainted with the friars...

 I explained to them about our life and st. Francis.....they come bowing down before you because in India a guru is always revered no matter to which religion he belongs....thats why we are proud to be INDIANS

 Friars planning and asking me as to what could be planned out....Brothers JJ and Alex....full of hopes and expectation.....

 Small house but very attractive....in the centre of the village......capuchins are always at the centre .....

 It was an honor and privilege to go around the house and ask the Lord to bless the nook and corner.....

 I told them who am I? Why am i wearing a brown habit....and who is the source of my consecration????

 These are gentlemen who helped the friars to get permissions and settled the problems amicably.....

 After the blessing visited a family.....

 This man loves the capuchins....he belongs to a middle class family but high appreciation for the priests and nuns....i visited to thank him.......he has invited me to spend one or two days with his family....he has a joint family...all educated....
