The grace of Working is put in practice in Curia

Br. Sergio with a smile tells that work is really a grace through which we associate with God and the poor. It is good to do manual work which is good for health too......
The talk these days is about the VIII PCO on the theme of "grace of work" and here in Curia we are trying to do our best by setting an example. Today we got ready the house for tomorrow's celebration for all the workers who worked for last two years on renovation. They are invited with the families, so we are expecting a big number. It is a nice way to appreciate and thank them for their hard work.

Oh, I am not tired but enjoying the work.....

Lord, Am doing rightly......Lord will You accept this way or should i bend down and prepare something different.......

Brothers Victorius and Raffaele washing the ground floor......

All the brothers, wherever they are in order to serve others or to work, they do neither the directors nor the clerks, nor preside in the houses in which they serve; nor accept any office who cause scandal or be harmful to their souls (cf. Mk 8:36, Lk 22:26); 2 but are smaller and subject to all those who are in the same house. 3 And the brothers who know how to work, and Iavorino exercise that trade they already know, it will not be contrary to the health of the soul and can be exercised honestly. 4 In fact, the prophet says, "And thou shalt eat the fruit of your labor; blessed you are and t'andrà good" (Ps 127,2); 5 and the Apostle: "He who does not work does not eat" (cf. Thes 3:10); 6: "Let every man abide in that job and in the profession to which he was called" (cf. 1 Cor 7:24). 7 And for their work can receive everything you need, except the money. 8 And when necessary, go for alms like other poor people. [25] 9 And they have the tools and the tools of their trades. 10 All the brothers are trying to apply to good works; for it is written: He 's always something good so that the devil may find you occupied, 11 and again: Idleness is the enemy of the soul. 12 So the servants of God must always devote themselves to prayer or some good work. [26] 13 The brothers, wherever they are, in hermitages or in other places, not to steal and not to place any contenderlo to anyone. 14 And whosoever will come to them, friend or foe, a thief or robber, has been received with kindness. 15 And the monks are everywhere and at any place they meet, should willingly and joyfully meet again in spirit and honor one another without grumbling (1 Peter 4:9). [27] 16 And The brothers from the show alI'esterno sad and dark in the face as the hypocrites (cf. Mt 6:16), but show themselves happy in the Lord (cf. Phil 4:4) and gently cheerful and amiable
