Arrived in Madras (Chennai)

This morning around 8.30am i reached to Chennai via Dubai. Almost 18 hours from Curia to Madras including the waiting and stuff. The flight was good from both the ends. Even at the airport you have guys who look at your bags and then slowly slip away with the bags. It happened to me. I was resting for a while and when i woke up my plastic bag with chocolates and stuff just disappeared. The man sitting next to me just pretended to be not knowing anything. I just surrendered to the lord and prayed for the one who went away with my stuff. God bless him.
At the airport i was welcomed warmly by the provincial and community members with flowers n hugs. It was very fraternal experience. The whole morning i rested and recovered my lost sleep. In the evening i concelebrated a Tamil Mass with huge number of People attending the novena of St. Anthony. We went around after dinner to Marina beach, the biggest and longest beach. Visited the Cathedral and tomb of St. Thomas, the apostle too!
Tomorrow morning i officially begin the pastoral visitation of the fraternity. They are four and involved in the pastoral work of the Parish. Its a big parish named after St. Mathias. We begin with Holy Hour and opening talk.
