Birth of a New Custody, Malawi

As you read this blog the celebration of a new custody taking place in Malawi. The General Minister Mauro and the General Councilor Jean along with the provincial of St. Thomas are participating in the celebration. It is a moment to thank the Lord for his continuous blessings on our missions in the Order. Some of the Missions are growing by leaps and bounds,. Some are growing at a faster rate as far as vocation and ministry is concerned. It is a good sign for the Order. On the other hand the Missionaries are working very hard to implant the order and spreading our capuchin charism through various ministries. The church's in mission are becoming vibrant because of the committment of the friars who have left everything and working in a unknown shores. The hard work is being paid in the form of growth and development. The local vocations are the future of the Order as well as the local chruch and jurisdiction.
Let us congratulate the missionaries all over the Order and especially the Malawi missionaries from St. Thomas. May they continue their hard work of spreading the good news and implanting the Capuchin Order.
