Happy Teacher's Day

Teacher, You Inspire Me!No One Can Compete With You.
Today is the Day of Thanksgiving! Today is the day to recognize hardworking and committed Teachers who shape the destiney of millions and direct the lives of those who offer themeselves to the Teachers for moulding and shaping. The teachers have always enjoyed a dear and near place in the hearts and minds of young and old. The teachers have been respected for the role that they play in our younger age. They are the Gurus who not only impart knowledge but touch the core of our being to be good human souls. The role today may have changed a little bit but the place that they have in society cannot be taken away. In India 5th September since 1962 is celebrated as the teachers day on the occassion of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhkrishnan birthday. A great teacher and leader of our Indian society. He was known as great diplomat, scholar and teacher in India. In his position as the vice president and then the President of India wanted to honor the teachers so he asked those who wanted to celebrate his birthday.
I have had always good teachers who were educators of mind and soul, who have shaped my destiny. Who have been the light in my Life. What the teachers have given me in school, college and in Seminary cannot be forgotton. It is precious wisdom which i cherish in my Life. Their smiles and laughter, their corrections and scoldings all have played a role to make me what I am today.
Oh, dear teachers i salute all of you for the hard work and devotion, your desire to educate a child who will be a better citizen and human person.
There is a little story of a great teacher who would walk into the class room and then bow down before the entire class. The students were not aware of the significant gesture on the part of the teacher. The students would make fun of the teacher. It went on for years when one day the newly appointed Principal saw the teacher bowing down. Out of curiosity he walked into the class room and asked the teacher to explain the gesture. The teacher said that the gesture is nothing but a recognition and acceptance of the future leaders and great people. That the students would one day be teachers, leaders, priests and great persons in the society. The teacher went further to say that she was practising right now so that in future it would not be difficult to bow down before great personalities. She recognised the talents and capacities of the students. She knew that one day they will rise up and shine like stars in the Sky.
God bless all Teachers of Wisdom, Knowledge, Religion!
Thank You For Making Me...
