Two days of animation for the Adoration sisters and celebrated the Feast of our Father Francis, this evening I moved to a close by Community of the sisters of Fatima. It is their annual retreat and there are 25 sisters come as far as Bangalore and Belgaum....
The sisters are mostly working in school and social centers....
This convent has two schools....
Bellary is the place where they were founded....by Blessed Kroot......
The sisters have about four convents in the diocese of Bellary....
We began the retreat with the Holy Eucharist
Preached about st. Francis and how he could guide and animate us during the retreat....
Close by the convent there is a dam called TB Dam....
This year they have received good rains so we can see all greenery
There are 1500 students studying here....they used to have more but due to lack of work opportunities many families are migrating to bigger towns and cities in Karnataka
