You might ask me How come He is courageous and what makes him so,,,,traditionally we know him to be a doubter ......what makes him courageous is his ability to clarify his confusion ....he might have gone on Saturday to visit the tomb of Jesus....the guards guarding the tomb....he knew and believed that the Lord was in.....He also accepted that the Lord was savior and redeemer.....perhaps he might have already known that Jesus had risen....but just to confirm.....Thomas is man who wants to understand.....
Jesus wants to go to Bethany and all the apostles are trying to prevent him.....Thomas comes up and expresses his confidence in the Lord and says that let us all go...with him and die with Him....man who is willing to take risks....he had courage to say so,,,,
Thomas showed again courage when the he expressed that he did not know where the Lord was going heading,,,,,how would then know th way......this impelled Jesus to say the one the famous spiritual and oft quoted sayings of Jesus: I am the Way, Truth and Life....
I visited Canacona.....it is a common postulancy program of Goa and Maharashtra....since about 8 years we have been running together....the experience has been very positive....I gave them two classes on the present situation of the Order and the conversion of St. Francis.....
There are 7 postulants 4 from Maharashtra and 3 from Goa,,,,,,
a beautiful friary.....it's a paradise on earth,,,,,it's green ...it's monsoon....the entire area is decked with greenery ....
Brothers Paul, Glen and Marianus...are forming these young men....
