Lord teach us Me to Pray!!!

 Lord teach us to pray....the disciples are asking the Lord to teach...there is a deep need and desire they felt to be in communion with the Father....

 Jesus recommends Mary to us to be imitated for the life of Prayer....she sits at the feet of the Master to listen.....

 Jesus himself sought moments to be in communion with the Father....he prayed always,,,,,,

Today everyone seems to be hungry! Not for food but for divine presence in one's life. 

People having everything but not very contended and happy. They are looking for something concrete to find inner peace. So the spiritual food can be obtained only through Prayer. 

There is a cry for new ways and means of praying. But prayer is not doing something but being in the presence of the Lord. It is seeking the presence of God in silence, meditation and reflection. Prayer is building a communion with the Lord. 

Praying asking the Father in Heaven who knows what we need, the creator, the giver of life. He gives to those who dialogue with Him.....

We need to relate to him as we relate to our father on earth. There are people who have had a very bad relationship with their earthly fathers which makes them to believe and trust in a Heavenly Father. 

But it is wrong.....building a communion with Him we can build relationship and communion with our earthly father.
