Seek the Lord in Prayer.....Build up Communion with Him

Today the Gospel speaks to us of a hidden treasure that fills with joy, a treasure that is not made of things, not even of graces, but is a person: Jesus, the profound relationship with him
 .

Even St. Paul expresses the joy for this treasure, for which he has left everything behind: "What could have been a gain for me, I have considered it a loss because of Christ. In fact, everything is now considered a loss in the face of the sublimity of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord". He himself, Paul, was "seized by Christ" and now runs towards the goal....

So St. Louis of Gonzaga left all the honors and riches to find Jesus Christ, and found him in prayer and charity. Today the Church remembers and ceelebrates the feast of him,
St. Paul also shows us what is the field where to find this "treasure": "To know him, the power of his resurrection, the participation in his sufferings, becoming compliant in death ...". The field is the participation in the mystery of Christ in all its dimensions: death and resurrection, in a total relationship with him.

We very often seek other treasures, perhaps deluding ourselves to look for him: a little 'satisfaction in work, A little' recognition, a little 'recognition, a little' health ... And in these legitimate research we no longer really seek the only treasure that deserves our attention. And we forget that there is reciprocity between being found in him and finding the treasure.
