Simple Living......High Spiritual Force!!!!1

The feast of st. John Mary Vianney being celebrated all over the Church and especially among the Diocesan clergy. The Parish priests today are honoured and a lot of prayers and best wishes are offered for them. The patron saint who was a simple priest who did extraordinary things in his pastoral ministry because he remained faithful to his call and commitment throughout his life. Simplicity in a priests or religious life has a great value and importance. A simple, committed and god fearing man is always revered and sought after in every culture. There are people in every religion who visit these men for seeking blessings, counselling and seeking peace. The people deep down know that these men have deep communion and connection with the Divine. The simplicity that they exhibit is a gift from the mighty Lord and through the simplicity they build up a relationship with the followers. The followers imitate them and begin to lead a fuller and happier life by adopting a simple life style.....Today we remember one of those simplest and humblest saints.....John Mary Vianney........

His journey on the earth began with simplicity and poverty.....born in a poor farmer's family taught him to lead a poor lifestyle in possessing the material things instead he achieved great heights in faith, preaching and charity towards all men and women. As a young lad he learned the simple ways of living human life and supporting the family by working in the fields along with the parents. The seeds of simplicity were sown in the family context which grew to be a huge tree....thousands and millions of fruits of simplicity are produced all over the world through his teaching and witnessing.
The religious atmosphere in the family did contribute a lot in his growth as simple and devout young man who decides to follow humble and poor Crucified Lord.

The prayers that he learnt at home also contributed in his spiritual journey towards the Lord which helped him to do the will of God in every circumstances...the fact that he was ordained after many difficulties and hurdles in formation period did not discourage him to abandon the path he had chosen,,,,,,his simple faith and trust in the Lord kept him strong and going....looking forward with hope to serve the Lord of the universe....it rewarded him......simple approach to human life does not bring in despair when met with failures and difficulties....you just accept those moments and wait for the right ones to come on your way....that is simplicity...you don't expect much but you know deep down in your heart that the Lord is waiting to shower those big blessings of joy and peace.

As a simple priest he devoted his time for the sacrament of confessions.....hours and hours he spent....because he knew that those simple people came with faith that the Lord would forgive them and grant graces to lead a new life.....John in his simplicity welcomed and made them feel at home to receive forgiveness  from the Lord......

The simplicity of life made him to base his entire life as a priest on the Holy Eucharist.......there was something special when he celebrated the Eucharist.....with devotion and respect......he adored the Lord whom he saw present on the altar......
