There are three religious congregations working in the Parish.....two congregations run schools and one runs home for the run away boys and girls......the sisters are also doing a lot of social work in this part of India......The FCC sisters run a hospital and nursing college.....they are catering to all the section of the society.....there are 22 sisters working for the upliftment of the people.

This is the centre for the boys and girls who run away and are found at the railway station of Itarsi....the sisters of Shamberry's are running the centre.....our friars render their support for evening classes and tuitions....they also celebrate masses and other spiritual activities....
Sr. Clare inspired by the Holy Spirit went to the railway station in the evening...saw hundreds of children loitering around...dirty and no place to sleep....she approached the railway authorities who were negative about the boys...sister requested them to give some place in the vicinity of the station....they agreed and thus began this centre 18 years ago....today they cater to 60 children...shaping their future....most of them have no parents...
