We have heard always the famous words…forget
the past and move on to the future…..past is good to build the present AND
future….if we are able to accept the past then we can embrace the future with
arms wide open….Today’s read teach us that we need to move on and not stop, get
rooted in the fialures and success, move on with courage and new energy…..the
energy can be double and fortified only when we look forward with hope…..we
need to have faith in God and in ourselves
You can imagine with what fire and spirit Sergio preached this morning ......look at his gestures....very much Italian.....may be due to his many years in Italy a Brazilian has embraced some of the gestures......
And we long for some good homilies....practical and touching....look at the friars....hanging on the lips of Sergio....i mean listening carefully...attentively...we all need to shed our past and live on with hope to face the future....there is a sun shine every morning.....
Oh my God...give us the same spirit to be hungry for the word of God....to hear, refelct, meditate and to apply for our daily life....Aklilu is happy to hear the words...he shows it through smile.....Ivan is just wondering whether it is possible to forget the past and look to the future..
