This year a visit to the Basilica of St. Peter is not just to receive the blessings and forgiveness of Sins but also to receive Plenary Indulgences ....yesterday we visited the Basilica but it was impossible to enter into the Basilica as the queue was so long.....a lot of tourist these days in Rome....it was slightly raining too.....we know one Nun who works in the Vatican and called her up and she took us to the Basilica through another way.....she had to take a special permission....
Swiss guards a special attraction here....everyone wants a photograph with them...we too stood next to them....this guy was very nice.....
The interior of the Basilica......we saw many people kneeling and praying for the indulgences....we too did the same......prayed for our indulgences.....
A crib which really takes you back to Bethlehem .....
The Holy Family attracts all the families....one can hear kids asking their parents about the Baby Jesus and His parents......many explain the story to their kids...others....listen from the others...
It was a great moment to be in the Basilica.....
Christmas tree is a great attraction here....a big Crib too is out in the Square of st. Peter......
