Final day - Mass at St. Alphonse Tomb

The fifth and final day began with morning prayer. After the morning prayer we began walking towards the tomb of St. Alphonse, the first Indian Clarist Saint. she attracts many pilgrims. She has become a role model for the young girls and even boys.
This morning we had Syrian rite Mass celebrated by the Provincial of st. Joseph. He was assisited by two Syrian provincials. The Mass so beautiful and it was well participated well by the participant. The Mass really makes one to enter into the mystery of Christ. The whole mass is sung and the minor seminarians conducted the choir. The Provincial Br. Joseph preached a short but meaningful homily on the journey and listening to one another. To dialogue with brothers.
After the mass each participant was given a diary by the Rector of the shrine who welcomed the general minister before the mass with bouquet. He also welcomed all of us with few words before the Mass began. Many of the Friars signed a visiting book. It was an historical event as the whole Order of the capuchins was present in the person of General and councilors.
