He began explaining the city context. It is a city of rich and poor....it is a city of money....we as capuchin friars have a lot to do. In the city there are a lot of people.....In Frankfurt people walk very fast...life is very fast....
It is not very big but 780,000 citizens...city which is growing.....54% of the city composed of only one single person. It is a international city of Germany. 27% of the population have a passport of different nations. 22% of the people who hold passports but not born in Germany
159.000 are catholics that is 22.5%  population. 1?3 of the catholics not speak German and 42% of the population is Christians. There are 5 parishes German and 24 parishes are of different languages...The church is global....
In the center of the city there is a Capuchin Church dedicated our Lady.....a lot of people pass here....they come for a moment of silence, to light a candle....a church that invites people to spend few moments of prayer....100 years of Capuchin history here....
what do the friars do in the Church: cloister, Franciscan meet, groups which meet often, Music, dialogue and spiritual direction, cultural events....
Everyday there are 1800 candles are lit by people in the corridor that leads to friary...people who are poor, rich, people of different religion also come....
In the church we pray together with people, 3 masses every day, confessions, 6 masses every sunday....adoration of the Blessed sacrament, everyday 10 minutes of preaching directed to non-catholics....place of silence.....a place of poor...in winter....poor come to sleep....
200 poor come for morning breakfast every day, social assistance is offered, there are volunteers and everything is done with the donation from people.
