Our Lady of the Angels, Kallem, Sanguem, Goa

This is  a presence in the province established in the year of 2012. It is on the out skirts of Sanguem. The friars have bought a farm which has Kaju, pepper, palm oil, coconuts and arc nuts ......the monkeys are the intruders who destroy practically half of the crop....they come in big umbers....they are a nuisance and you can't touch them...it is sad and heart breaking to see the destruction of the crop which is the hard labour of the friars.....this place is far away from City....to arrive here from Mapusa and Margin you need two hours by road......there is no pastoral ministry....the friars are invited sometimes by the close by parishes which are about 20 to30Km....it is a big a distance in India as the roads are not unto the mark...
The friars gave me a warm welcome with cool tender coconut water......it really took away my tiredness as we traveled from Navelim to this place.....
This is a farm house....and the friars informed me that there are wild animals which roam about freely in the night....there Leopards, Bisons, deers and wild boars, porcupines and rabbits, peacocks and above all the dangerous black Cobras....
 Friars Gabriel, Agnel and Agnelo...
The farm house has cows and goats...the cows are tied in the open air as the friars don't have a proper cow shed....they need a shed which they are looking for.....the good lord will provide them in due time
The friars cook for themselves....they are practicing the grace of working....the PCO is already on here in this friary.....we prayed for the success of the PCO which is coming up soon...
Can you spot me in the Picture?

It is a wonderful place for prayer and meditation....it is quite....it is actually a forest and close by there is wild life sanctuary....

The garden....it is about 43 acres of Land...

The old and the new friary.....

This is one of the workers...they are from North India.......
This is a pumpkin which is a popular vegetable in India....
The Guardian Br. Agnel,,,,,he is also the councilor...he was my student.....
