Ash Wednesday Celebration

The Eucharist was presided over by Hugo and preached on the theme of conversion. It was very inspiring and made all the faithful to reflect more on the importance of conversion in our lives as religious.

After blessing the Ashes, he smeared the ashes on the foreheads of the provincials and Economies

Bowing down and accepting that we are dust and to dust we shall return

we know that we have to return to the Father...why then we behave as if earth is going to be our eternal home

Yes i shall arise and return to the Father....

I have roamed and have sinned oh my God...now i repent .....

I wandered far away from God now i am coming home.....

I wasted many precious years....now i am coming home
Coming home coming home never more to roam....open thine arms of love ...lord i am coming home

\

Lay your hands upon me o Lord....Lay your hand gently lay your hands....

Lord we come to you with broken hearted....lord we know that you will save us all.....May your Spirit Guide and remain with us....

Help us o Mary....so that we may keep our hearts pure like you for the Lord....

May Our Lenten penances and sacrifices bring fruits like the bananas ....may our lives be always green and fruitful....May we sweeten the hearts and lives of everyone whom we meet and with whom we live....Like the bananas may we satisfy the hunger of our friars for love and appreciation....
