Afternoon session by Alejandro on Economic Solidarity

 -       Br. Alejandro this afternoon session began explaining the economic solidarity. He began by giving examples of his own experiences in the field of economic solidarity. He began with the Inter provincial solidarity, which is the need of the hour in the Order and very much in India. The first world had the resources and they shared with the third world to implant the order financially.  The Europeans went all over the world and worked as missionaries.
-       The next question that he asked was: How to support the new Missions?
-

General Minister Flavio Carraro on 19 May 1991 created to Central Mission Fund.
-       In 2000 John Corriveau created office of the solidarity with own statutes, principles and Funds.
-       He explained the various funds, which the Order has, to the participants
-       Secretary and promoter of solidarity are the ones who go around in the provinces asking money for the projects. Their experience is now negative as the provinces are not able to support the projects. It is not easy to collect funds for the projects.
-       Spoke about the formation subsidy which will be reduced every year and so the province needs to plan out
