Friars of VK Puram fraternity....Brothers Albert, Joseph and Jaisalan
Being Sunday the friars from 6am to 11am were with Sunday Ministry. They have few substations where eucharist is celebrated. Morning 7.15am i concelebrated Eucharist with Brothers Albert and the assistant pastor. I was welcomed with shawls by the friars and parishioners. What i have admired of the Catholic is their faith in the Eucharist and priests. They all come with folded hands to receive blessing from the priests. At the end of the Mass the Priest comes infront of the altar to bless the faithful who one by one stand before him and he places hands on their....very touching moment, young and old, rich and poor all come and bow down before you. I felt very happy and elevated too. Sometimes I feel unworthy to bless these people who live good christian life and their faith. They teach big lessons which we dont learn in our formation. They teach us through their smiles inspite of problems and sufferings, they touch us through their simplicity and deep faith in God. We preach and they practise.
