Visit to Postulants and Theologians In Ranchi

Yesterday after the visit to the construction site of the Novitiate, I visited the Postulants and spent about two hours talking and sharing with them. They had a lot questions regarding the Order and its mission. They are Very good young postulants future capuchins for the Order and Province.

This morning I visited the Theology students who are about 9 of them. Even with them spent two hours. It was a fraternal dialogue with them. They too are young and energetic young capuchins. I admonished them to be different from the Diocesean clergy with whom they are studying. I also advised them to keep up with Franciscan and Capuchin spirituality. Encouraged them to read a lot of Franciscan Capuchin Material. It was a very fraternal encounter.

In the afternoon we flew to Lucknow and reached to the provincial curia around 7.30pm. Tomorrow I Have one day free and I will visit one Hospital for some regular check ups.

India is gearing up to celebrate the festival of Lights (Diwali) which starts from tomorrow. All houses, buildings and streets are decorated and lit.
The climate is slowly dropping down. By first week of November it will be cold this part of India.
