This Morning Rainero Cantalamessa celebrated the Eucharist is celebrating his Feast day of St. Raniero, a Franciscan Friar who was a lay brother. He preached a thought provoking and inspiring homily. He said that God loves all and send his son for all. Jesus who welcomed sinners also accepted the offer of Zacheus who offered to be converted. Raniero made a comparision with the Rich young man and Zacheus. He also touched the fact of Francis of Assisi and his encounter with the Lepers.
He said that the story of Zacheus is the story of all us today. The Lord is coming home to dine with us.
